libapacheds-java software package provides Apache Directory Server (Libraries), you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapacheds-java
libapacheds-java is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapacheds-java package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapacheds-java *
You will get with libapacheds-java package name, version, architecture and description in a table
